Job Description

Through our partners at Modis, we have an immediate need for a Data Conversion Analyst in the Atlanta, Georgia area (30339).  This position pays $65,000$72,000/yr depending on experience, and offers tremendous career growth and advancement opportunities, exciting new projects with innovative technologies, and a convenient work location with restaurants within walking distance.  

Position Description:   

The Data Conversion Support Team manages data conversion tasks for 5,800+ stores scheduled to convert from their Legacy POS system to a new POS system called RPM. This position will focus on preparing the store’s data and assisting with the data conversion process.


  • Track the store conversion progress
  • Run data clean-up or input tools as necessary
  • Write/run additional SQL queries as needed
  • Assist with resolving / troubleshooting any data or software issues prior to conversion
  • Understand and assist with technical aspects of RPM Conversion including knowledge of proprietary and industry standard conversion tools
  • Report status of all conversion-related data tasks to RPM Data Conversion Manager
  • Lead teams that are both remote and on-site

Experience, Education, and Abilities:  

  • Well organized and capable of multi-tasking (will have stores in various time zones)
  • Demonstrated Leadership abilities and be achievement oriented.
  • Experience in coaching and staff development is mandatory.
  • Ability to learn new tasks in a short period of time
  • Ability to explain data conversion plan with other team members/departments.
  • Technical Expertise
  • Can write and execute database SQL queries
  • Can analyze data and perform calculations to determine work effort
  • Ability to work flexible hours to support after hours customers. Role will have 3rd shift work.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Customer service experience required
  • Professional appearance and excellent communications skills are required
  • 4 year degree in a quantitative or technology-focused field is preferred; however, significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Position Performance Measures:  

  • Number of preventable data issues reported after store conversion
  • Adherence to conversion schedule in the Division
  • Customer satisfaction rating from customers
