Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Houston TX for Waste Management. This opportunity is a 6 month contract to hire position and is conveniently located downtown. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manually processing and reviewing multiples invoices
  • Responsible for paying vendors and reconciling transactions.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, focus on quality results, meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to focus on one activity for extended periods.
  • Proficient computer/typing skills and proficiency with a computer mouse and keyboard.
  • Sent off invoices for approval when needed.
  • Reviewed and documented AP/AR entries.
  • Maintained a healthy relationship with vendors concerning their prospective accounts.


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
  • 3-5 years of working experience
  • AR/AP experience
  • Able to work downtown and have reliable transportation
  • Data Analysis
  • Invoicing/Post Payments
  • Auditing
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • SAP Software is a plus
