Job Description

GDH is looking for an experienced Change Control Coordinator to work on-site in Kansas City, MO. 

Overview:

The Change Control Coordinator will be responsible for administering the formal, centralized process (approval, scheduling and control) for managing the implementation to production of information technology solutions, ensuring IT applications, networks and systems remain aligned with corporate business requirements with a minimum of risk.


Responsibilities:

  • Accomplishes or coordinates system change efforts in the Information Technology division, ensuring that all required documentation and conditions are fulfilled.
  • Monitors and administers change management systems to identify potential problems and recommends solutions. 
  • Resolves routine change control issues using good judgment, attention to detail and in a timely manner.
  • Escalates problems when necessary and learns from their successful resolution for future issues. 
  • Develops, maintains and communicates change control documentation. 
  • Ensures that documentation is accurate and complete, fulfilling audit requirements.
  • Follows policies and procedures to ensure corporate change control.
  • Meets regularly with IT departments and teams in order to anticipate and plan for change workload.
  • Works closely with auditing and compliance officers to fulfill their requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or other related field 
  • 2 -4 years relevant IT experience 
  • Working knowledge of standard concepts, best practices and procedures related to change control management.
  • Familiar with business goals, corporate IT standards, strategy and service level agreements.
  • Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with other departments and technical teams.
