Our key client is adding to their team and looking for a Senior Cyber Security Consultant  The position is located in Denver. This is a 12-month contract paying $ 57.00 -  $ 79.50/hour per hour depending on experience. 

Job Description:
  • Responsible for the strategic management of the largest and/or most complex key cyber security initiatives by identifying security risk management and compliance solutions driven by business needs for significant business critical applications, infrastructure and services
  • Protect the company against risks of data loss and vulnerability management as well as drive initiatives to ensure compliance with requirements from agencies such as FERC, NERC, and Department of Homeland Security (such as CIP, HIPAA, SOX, PCI)
  • Manage security risks and threats by collaborating with other business units, utilities, governmental agencies and security related communities to share information
  • Apply expert level business and technical acumen while defining security and compliance solutions that deliver best practices for building and monitoring controls for information protection and threat management
  • Focus is on McAfee Endpoint Security Solution Data Loss Protection concepts around data loss prevention (DLP), tokenization and encryption, database activity monitoring, Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB) and be able to convey security offering capabilities during pursuits. Ideally have hands on technical implementation experience

  • McAfee Device Control protects (monitoring and controlling data) transfers from PCs to removable storage devices such as USB drives
  • McAfee Data Loss Prevention (DLP) scanning and analysis that examines network traffic.  
  • Comprehensive scans of inbound and outbound network traffic across all ports, protocols, and content types. 
  • Creation of rules for data protection, and ensures that you create effective information protection policies.  
  • Tune detection and alerting policies by closely examining violations and partnering with other security, legal and HR teams to further investigations as appropriate.
  • Required Experience: DLP = 5+ years, Compliance = 5+ years, Security Risk Management = 5+ years.
  • Should have experience working across diverse teams to facilitate solutions, and experience working with Security practitioners.
  • Strong understanding of McAfee Endpoint ENS for Linux
  • Experience installing and configuring McAfee  ENS for Linux. 
  • Experience troubleshooting McAfee endpoint, experience using McAfee log analysis tools to troubleshoot issues.
  • Implement policy, Rules in a phased approach of requirements analysis, installation, integration, and testing
