Job Description

Our client Zensar is seeking a dynamic Desktop Systems Engineer to work in a fast-paced environment where customer service skills are a must. As a member of a team, this position will be responsible for image creation, management and deployment; creating software deployment packages; managing anti virus updates; documenting PC inventory moves and assisting on various technical projects.  This is a direct hire position in Westborough, MA (01581) and the target annual salary is $65,000-$70,000 per year.

Experience and Skills Needed:
  • 5-7+ years of experience with Windows 7 and Windows 8.1
  • 5-7+ years of troubleshooting experience - software, hardware (desktops, laptops, tablets), installation, VPN, active directory, Microsoft Lync, networking
  • Experience in handling priority one escalations/incidents
  • Experience working with Altiris or SCCM for software deployment and image management
  • Experience working with Browsium/Catalyst
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Proven communication skills in a phone environment, working with end users to document incidents and report problem trends
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow or other service desk incident tracking system with experience using remote control systems such as Bomgar
  • Utilizing a knowledgebase and actively creating/modifying documents
  • Adapting successfully to changing situations and environments
  • Taking on new challenges at short notice
  • Dealing with changing priorities/workloads
  • Ability to interface well with a variety of users, including VIPs and executive management
