Job Description

Through our partners at Aptino, we have an immediate need for an experienced Desktop / Network Support Engineer in New York City, NY (10001).  This is a 4 month contract position that could be extended based on performance, has career growth and advancement opportunities, and pays $27-$32/hour.  

Job description:Must Skills:
  • Experience with PC imaging/build/staging/deployment processes. Experience with rollouts of new PCs to large numbers of corporate users.
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in IT deskside support in a corporate environment
  • Experience with Mac and Office 365 deployments in large corporate environments is highly preferred.

Plus Skills:
  • Experience with ITIL/ITSM processes, ITSM solutions like Cherwell and ServiceNow
  • Experience with core applications such as Active Directory, Office 2010/O365, Skype for Business, McAfee Anti-Virus, SharePoint, SCCM 2012, Casper Suites, MS Office products, Adobe products, SAP and SAP BW, Oracle Clients in Windows Server
  • Experience with Operating Systems such as Windows 7, Windows 10, Mac Sierra, Mac High Sierra
  • Strong demonstrated experience with Active Directory and laptop/desktop/printer hardware architecture.
  • Strong demonstrated experience in end-user device technologies, asset management systems, security tools, desktop deployment and annual refresh strategies, and utilities related to desktop service.

Degrees, certifications/training: 
  • Mac Certifications preferred

Industry expertise: 
  • Retail industry experience is preferred.

Other soft skills/aptitude: 
  • Good at working with End-users in terms of deploying new PCs to them and explaining the functionality of Windows 10 and key applications like Office 2010/O365
