Job Description

We are currently seeking a Project Manager in Jacksonville, Florida paying $45.00-$55.00/hr.


The Project Manager - Software Backlog is responsible for initiating, planning, organizing and executing assigned backlogs. This position is primarily focused on the execution and release of software enhancements. The selected individual will need to be a leader with the ability to represent the organization in a professional manner. The selected individual will also need to work collaboratively in a matrix organization with various internal stakeholders such as multiple Business Units, Product Management, Engineering, QA, Operations, Purchasing, Development Teams and Leadership.


    Responsible for development and execution of software backlog projects with clear milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion of projects within established timeline and budget

    Initiate, define, deliver, and support implementation of software systems to internal and external customers.

    Ensure project compliance with business and 3rd party vendors

    Applies and demonstrates technical management and organizational skills that results in a collaborative culture using clear, credible, objective and proactive communications and stakeholder management

    Lead regular update meetings in an efficient manner with cross functional team members including product management, engineering, operations, quality, business units and partners

    Track and document the project progress, monitors the risks, effectiveness, and performance of the project and project team and proactively facilitates the development of contingency plans and recommended corrective actions as required

    Publish project documentation

    Action item tracking and task prioritization

    Appropriately manage / escalate project issues or risk

    Prepare and conduct bi-weekly program

    Participate in the development and improvement of policies and procedures and tools that affect efficient program management and product development


    5+ years of overall experience in an enterprise environment

    2+ years of SW program, project or technical leadership experience

    Experience managing and deploying SaaS solutions, including knowledge of relevant regulatory and security documentation

    Advanced skill set with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project, Visio
