Job Description

We are in immediate need of an RFP Specialist in Dallas, TX 75201 for a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension (through the end of the year) paying $35-$39/hour.
Job Description:This RFP Specialist role provides a high quality, client-focused approach to communicate and support products with specific focus on the delivery of RFPs, RFIs and DDQs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintains excellent relationships with selected investment teams – typically assigned as a supporting RFP contact point for investment teams
  • Working towards a deep understanding of an asset class (i.e. Real Estate) and developing skills sets to support senior RFP responsibilities
  • Responds to inbound Due Diligence, RFPs and RFI requests
  • May support with guidance from a senior team member complex RFP/DDQs for consultants and/or other sophisticated client groups
  • May be assigned data management tasks to support the wider team needs and ensure efficiency i.e. AUM; fund files, shared performance data etc.
  • Will develop and maintain a suite of standard responses and materials to support product and company requests
  • Will be assigned company theme to develop and maintain with subject matter expert support in the team’s database
  • Under the supervision of a senior team member may assist in qualification calls
  • Developing lead skills over time
  • May personally develop or improve existing responses to the most complex RFPs
  • Will actively peer review other team members work to ensure company standards are maintained and in accordance with regulatory expectations
  • In time will develop the understanding and skills to assist with senior peer reviews
  • Contributes actively to team meetings. Assisting with agenda and team minute preparation.

Key Requirements/Experience
  • Experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a RFP or investment/marketing communications or client service position (2-4 years)
  • A good understanding of financial markets and the fund management industry
  • Strong general IT skills, especially in Word and Excel packages
  • Experience with RFP software and databases is a plus

Qualifications Required
  • Degree or a similar qualification
  • IMC or a similar securities industry qualification would be an advantage
