Job Description

We have an immediate need for a Senior Administrative Assistant in Houston, TX (Greenway Plaza area).  This is a 6 month contract with the possibility of extension, and it offers the opportunity to work with a global team as well as gain experience within the investment banking industry.  This position requires prior experience providing administrative support to executives, as well as strong data entry experience.  

Job Purpose:  This position primarily provides administrative support to the Global Ethics Office. Additional responsibilities include streamlining processes and supporting variety of projects as assigned by Compliance.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Maintain physical files and records such as employee account statements;
  • Complete data entry processing and reporting in the automated compliance system;
  • Generate and write correspondence, including letters, memos and emails;
  • Tracking successful completion of work items and taking proactive measures to bring assignments to completion;
  • Provide general administrative duties such as copying, scanning and filing;
  • Provide timely and accurate follow-up to projects assigned; and
  • Perform other related duties as assigned including but not limited to updating procedure documents, presentation, SharePoint sites.


Work Experience/Knowledge:
  • 5 or more years as an Administrative Assistant and prior experience in Compliance preferred
  • Familiarity with the investment management industry a plus
  • Experience with compliance systems, such as Star Compliance, a plus
  • Prior experience working and interacting within large projects is an asset

  • Mature, thoughtful and balanced, and able to adapt own style to others
  • Collaborative team player with strong ability to build relationships internally and externally 


Formal Education:
  • College degree and/or equivalent work experience.
