Position Description:

  • Responsible for designing end-to-end connected vehicle ecosystem blueprint for connected vehicle features by partnering with feature leads, vehicle engineering teams, IT architecture, and mobile app technical leads.
  • Works with cross-functional groups to define interoperable interfaces across subsystems and translate them into system-level requirements for building connected vehicle systems architecture.
  • Responsible for the development of comprehensive technical specifications for the vehicle subsystem, cloud subsystem, and mobile app subsystem and integrating them to create ecosystem-level architecture specifications.
  • Leads feasibility assessment of connected vehicle features by collaborating with cross-functional Pre-PS teams.
  • Develops recommendations for connected vehicle feature content along with identifying target vehicle program and region by considering technical risks and conducting cost/benefit analysis.
  • Develops/supports “feature roadmaps” closely working with feature engineering leads within CV&S and with feature champions across various skill teams.
  • Collaborate with IT (business, solution and information) architecture counter parts to align business vision to the technical solutions for connected vehicle features.
  • Integrate with vehicle component engineering team to collaborate and develop connectivity platform approach through promoting reusable design solutions across several vehicle electronic components.
  • Lead interface with research and EESE advanced engineering teams to bring new connected vehicle concepts into production.
  • Work with cross functional teams with inclusive leadership skills and steadfast patience.
